I saw a lot of sequins in menz fashion during fashion week. Does anyone else think this is cool or have I already lost my grip on reality?? I guess it’s not practical and I’d never wear it, but it’s nice to look at anyhow. Or are they buttons? I kinda hope they are sequins. Photo courtesy of James Long.
Well, I am almost outta here (SF). I leave on Monday. Gonna be so sad leaving. I had my favorite ice cream in the world today (Birite Creamery) and my pal Dakota is coming over to watch the finale of Top Chef (shhhhhhhhhhhh). It took me about 2 days to pack all my toys up (the ones I collect and the ones I’ve made) which is sorta on the ridiculous side, no? Anywho, not much to report on. My shop will be offline for about a week so I have time to move and get settled. Wish me luck on the getting outta here (moving is always such a bitch!!!) , and I’ll try and get around to listing my favorite SF places before I get outta here.
I found this 8″ Dunny (Kidrobot) I did a couple years ago while I was digging through old stuff to put in my shop before moving. I still like him. He is now sold.
My new toy Kristopher that dropped on Saturday is now all sold out. Thank you SOOOOOOOOO much to everyone that helped make that happen. I’m really excited to work on my next toy (and the next and the next and the next) once I get settled in Portland. I got shitloads of stuff going on and this week is gonna be pretty full-on. Orders will ship either late Tuesday or early Wednesday. Thanks again everyone!!!!!!
I dunno how I missed this because I think it was released a few months ago, but it’s one of the best music videos I’ve seen in a hot one. Metronomy neeeeeever disappoint (disappoints?). Love this video! A++++
I stimulated the SF economy in more ways than one by also buying a new Dehara toy today (at Giant Robot). My first Morlin, but I want them alllll. This is a peek at part of my toy collection which is once again ridiculously huge. Gimme gimme more, gimme more, gimme gimme moooore.
Hi, I'm Jon Knox.
I live in Portland. I make toys and clothes for a living, and I have a mutt named Robbie. This blog is a combo of my artwork and other random things that inspire me. Think of it as a moodboard in blog format.
