Brute Jonny

These are the pieces I’m working on for the Resin Collective show at Red Hot Robot. They always look a little weird unpainted.

Hi folks, I’m still alive, and I made it to Portland ok. Moving is really exhausting, and I’m still not 100% unpacked. I’m getting there though. My studio is off the hook. I’m also setting up a garage workshop  for screen printing and casting to minimize lung corrosion. I have soooooo much to blog about but I dunno if I can be bothered just yet. So many cool things are in the works and I think it’s going to be a pretty full-on year. I promise not to get overworked and bitchy this time!

I just saw the spreads for a Hello, Brute feature in one of my favorite magazines and I am SOOOO (I hate the word stoked, but stoked). I won’t divulge the information juuuust yet, but I’ve been giddy since I found out about it.

Btw, I got this Jeffrey plush back from a show in NYC today. If anyone wants it, shoot me an e-mail. Nevermind, SOLD!

This took several days because there was a paint mixup and I had to start over more than halfway through. The walls were a hideous neutral beige color, so I had to paint them back to white (including a ceiling blargh). Nevertheless, here is a peek at my new studio. More pics once I’m all moved in!

Hi folks! As many of you may have heard already, I have relocated to Portland. That means bigger studio and better performance! I have tons of stuff already lined up for this year, and it’s going to be a very exciting one. I am beginning my pieces for the Resin Collective show at Red Hot Robot in April, as well as working on a new version of the Kristopher toy. I’ve also got a few more toys in the works that should see the light of day very soon. I will need a few weeks to get settled and in the swing of things, but expect big things in the very near future!
