I have finally finished (mostly) updating the design and backend functionality of hellobrute.com. I probably have an unhealthy obsession with working on it, but it’s my baby, what can I say. I’ve fixed some minor issues from the previous version, so everything should run a bit better. My Big Cartel shop has a matching new scheme, and has much much more robust coding to go along with it. If you find any bugs, I would appreciate hearing about it.
Note to RSS subscribers: If you subscribe to Hello, Brute news, there is a new official feed URL ( hellobrute.com/blog/feed ). You should be seeing full posts with all images in your reader from now on. I would recommend updating your feed URL to the new one to be sure you don’t miss anything. If you don’t want to, the old URL should work okay.
“Brute Jonny” blog RSS subscribers: If you subscribe to my personal blog, you will continue to get all of the Hello, Brute updates. You don’t need to update anything.
Mailing list subscribers: Nothing has changed. You are still on the list and will hear from me when the next toy is ready!
If you have any other concerns, or just want to say hi, send me an e-mail! Thank you again to everyone for the continued support! Several new toys are in the works!
xox,
Jon Knox

Since I’m further behind schedule than I anticipated on these, I think it’s only fair to keep everyone updated and assured that I’ve been constantly working on Danny version 2. As you can see, they’re very near completion. I promise I’m working hard!

When it comes to music, girls are more interesting. (Video is embedded on post page if you’re looking in your RSS reader. If you don’t know what that means, it’s okay, we can still be friends.)

Brilliant combo of zine and fashion editorial (both men’s and women’s). It’s digital and free (download it at vanityteen.com). Lots of inspiration for my upcoming projects. LOVE-N-IT

I love all of Chris Garneau’s albums. It didn’t take long to start loving his new one either (I’m beginning to think I don’t deal well with change.)

I don’t like writing about music. It makes me sound like a huge douche. Another album I was lukewarm on last year, but have been listening to almost every day this week. I do this a lot. I’m posting this song cos I love the janko beginning.

This is my IRO. I took some pictures because I think I’m gonna make a few modifications to it and will document the process if so. You’ll notice front and rear brakes, and a freewheel. Suck it bike snobs.
