Check out the new Hello, Brute Flickr Group created by Pata. If you have Brute gear or toys, I’d love for you to share your pictures through the group. Big thanks to Pata for setting up and helping administer the group. Click here to go to his photostream and check out his wonderful toy collection (including the pic above).
Also, if you wanna talk about Hello, Brute toys, visit the Official Hello, Brute Thread over at the Kidrobot forums!
I have a new interview at Working in the Third Dimension, a new blog by esteemed sculptor & illustrator Liz Lomax. The blog features artists that work in 3D, many of whom work with polymer clay (the clay I use to sculpt my characters). If you’re mainly a fan of the “artist toy” genre (or whatever we’re calling it now), this blog will quite possibly have a lot of work you haven’t seen before, so it’s definitely worth checking out. Click here for a direct link to the interview. Many thanks to Liz for the feature!
Sorry I know I’ve been really terrible about posting stuff lately. I have been working non-stop and sleeping stupid ridiculous hours. My friend Leo showed me this the other day. I guess people are getting tired of retro, but this was strange enough to pique my interest. The girl reminds me of Erin from this season of Top Model. Video is directed by AlexandLiane. I will try and write more soon, and make up for my lack of posts when I’m in North Carolina at the end of December, slummin’ it for the holidays. I’ve been awake since 1am and it feels like my brain is blowing bubbles.
Hi, I'm Jon Knox.
I live in Portland. I make toys and clothes for a living, and I have a mutt named Robbie. This blog is a combo of my artwork and other random things that inspire me. Think of it as a moodboard in blog format.
