More shoes, via Gourmet’s Du Jour blog. What’s great about Gourmet shoes is they have a really classic look but with a bit of a twist; something you can wear every day. They’re not loud, but definitely attention-grabbing. I’ll take the Tre (yellow), please. The other 2 pairs from the spring preview are after the jump.

While I’m pretty sure I can’t in good conscience wear most $150 sneakers, I love this collaboration between Converse and Jeremyville, and would be sporting them if I had the cash. I’m hoping for a lime green or turquoise color variant, then it’s almost guaranteed I’ll be wearing a pair. Jeremy is an awesome guy and [...]

Jeremyville Converse

While I’m pretty sure I can’t in good conscience wear most $150 sneakers, I love this collaboration between Converse and Jeremyville, and would be sporting them if I had the cash. I’m hoping for a lime green or turquoise color variant, then it’s almost guaranteed I’ll be wearing a pair. Jeremy is an awesome guy and I always keep an eye on the projects he’s working on. Click here for a direct link to buy these shoes directly from him.

I haven’t seen these in person, but I just noticed these shoes by Tic-Tac-Toes in the American Apparel online shop. I’ve been a fan of a dressier shoe for quite awhile, and if these are comfortable, I’ll probably pick up a pair if they carry them in my local store. Hopefully we’ll see some more [...]

Hartwick Skimmer Shoe by American Apparel

I haven’t seen these in person, but I just noticed these shoes by Tic-Tac-Toes in the American Apparel online shop. I’ve been a fan of a dressier shoe for quite awhile, and if these are comfortable, I’ll probably pick up a pair if they carry them in my local store. Hopefully we’ll see some more shoes from American Apparel in the near future (lace-up boots please!). They seem to be getting some pretty good reviews so far. Made in the USA!

I saw this bag by APC on Hypebeast a few days ago (permalink), and I want it. I’ve seen so many guys carrying bags, that it doesn’t look weird to me anymore. I’m happy to welcome this trend, for two reasons. 1: I like to carry a lot of stuff with me — phone, wallet, [...]

I saw this bag by APC on Hypebeast a few days ago (permalink), and I want it. I’ve seen so many guys carrying bags, that it doesn’t look weird to me anymore. I’m happy to welcome this trend, for two reasons. 1: I like to carry a lot of stuff with me — phone, wallet, keys, glasses, sunglasses, sketchbook, pens, postcards/business cards — and since I wear fitted jeans, I can’t fit all that shit in my pockets! 2: Umm, I just like bags. I spent so many years wearing a white t-shirt, jeans, and plain black shoes, and now I’m fighting off the urge to over-accessorize and look like a crazy person after being repressed for so long. I love when people can pull off loud designs with bright colors and crazy proportions, but I’m just not one of those people. I can carry a bag like this and still feel like I made an effort to look decent, and people don’t stare me down in their stores like I’m gonna steal something.

P.S. You can pick this weekend bag up at the Honeyee shop for around US$222.

Jeremy Scott x Adidas

from Jeremy Scott‘s range for Adidas. These drop in March. I’m eyeing anything in my apartment that I can sell so I can afford a pair.

While I’m at It…

Aren’t these shoes by Zuriick hot? I think I’m gonna focus all my “I gotta have this but I ain’t got no cash” energy into this blog.
