Fell in love with this album instantly. Gonna be one of my favorites this year I think.
I meant to post this ages ago but I think I was neglecting this blog at the time. Yeah, more European computer music, but I do think you can tell when the effort has been put in. I like the guy’s voice and think the album will be pretty solid.
One of my all-time favorite bandaroonies. Can’t wait for their new album, they always keep it fresh and interesting. I met them once in North Carolina when they had like 17 people in the band, and they are super sweeties.

Alexis Taylor (singer of Hot Chip) can do no wrong in my eyes. I love his stripped down solo album Rubbed Out.
Sorry I know I’ve been really terrible about posting stuff lately. I have been working non-stop and sleeping stupid ridiculous hours. My friend Leo showed me this the other day. I guess people are getting tired of retro, but this was strange enough to pique my interest. The girl reminds me of Erin from this season of Top Model. Video is directed by AlexandLiane. I will try and write more soon, and make up for my lack of posts when I’m in North Carolina at the end of December, slummin’ it for the holidays. I’ve been awake since 1am and it feels like my brain is blowing bubbles.
When it comes to music, girls are more interesting. (Video is embedded on post page if you’re looking in your RSS reader. If you don’t know what that means, it’s okay, we can still be friends.)
I love all of Chris Garneau’s albums. It didn’t take long to start loving his new one either (I’m beginning to think I don’t deal well with change.)

Hi, I'm Jon Knox.
I live in Portland. I make toys and clothes for a living (Hello, Brute), and I have a mutt named Robbie. This blog is a combo of my work under Hello, Brute and other random things. Think of it as a moodboard in blog format.
